I tried lubing my old Magic Keyboard just for kicks and it makes a huge difference!

I might try lubing the whole board now haha. What a meme.

I had NK silk switches in here previously, but I swapped them out for the roller linears, because of how solid the roller switches feel with ceramic caps. The silks feel really loose in comparison - ceramic caps are so heavy that it just amplifies any stem wobble.

That said, I think the NK silks sounded way nicer... you win some you lose some.

• KAT black on white keycaps
• brass 7u spacebar (it’s so heavy that I had to mod the spacebar switch with an extra strong spring )

Built a QK80 mk2 preview unit this week! I've been using it all week at work.

I used roller linear switches and ceramic keycaps, but i'll probably switch the caps out for another set that fits the case aesthetic better.

Took ages to get the parts. It’s a nice keyboard. I’d love one, but the layout is just not for me.
